  • Overview

    This session is part of the Opioid Module, which explores the safe and effective utilization of prescription opioids within diverse pain management treatment plans during the opioid crisis. This session reviews the additional study category for a medication to not only attain FDA-approval, but to additionally have FDA approval as an abuse deterrent formulation (ADF) prescription opioid medication. This session will review product selection and patient counseling points for the ADF prescription opioids that are FDA approved as an ADF opioid medication and actually available on the U.S. market.
