  • Overview

    The purpose of this monograph is to provide basic information on telehealth as a whole, followed by diving deeper into the world of tele-pharmacy in the United States. We will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of telehealth. We will then spend time discussing the specifics of the legislation the state of Arizona has on telehealth and tele-pharmacy, discuss the first operational tele-pharmacy in the state, and the concerns that pharmacists have about the expansion of tele-pharmacy in Arizona. At the end of this monograph, we will touch on how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the use of telehealth and what the future may hold for telehealth and tele-pharmacy in the United States.
