General CE: 30 Credits, Live CE: 10 Credits Due Date (M/D/Y): 9/30/2023

Pharmacists must complete thirty (30) hours of approved courses of CPE every two (2) years as a condition of relicensure.

Ten (10) of those hours must be from an approved live program.

Two (2) of those hours must be a Board-approved course on medication errors.

Two (2) of those hours must be a Board-approved course on the Controlled Substances.

A Board-approved one hour course on AIDS/HIV is required prior to first renewal of licensure.

No carry over of credit is allowed.

Pharmacy Technician
General CE: 20 Credits, Live CE: 4 Credits Due Date (M/D/Y): 12/31/2022

Of the twenty (20) hours of required continuing education credit,four (4) must be obtained as "live" continuing education.

Two (2) hours must be Board approved Medical Errors courses.

First Biennium Renewal: If you are renewing your license for the first time and the renewal occurs less than 12 months after the initial licensure date you are only required to complete 1 hour in HIV/AIDS and 2 medical errors.

If your renewal occurs 12 months or more after your initial licensure date you are required to complete 12 (2 must be live) general hours of registered pharmacy technician continuing education, including 1 hour HIV/AIDS and 2 medical errors.
